Dr. Susan Liautaud is the Founder and Managing Director of Susan Liautaud & Associates Limited, a boutique advisory firm advising global leaders and corporate, non-profit, academic and governmental institutions internationally on complex ethics matters.
She is the author of The Power of Ethics (2021).
She is the Chair of Council (trustees) of the London School of Economics and Political Science. She teaches cutting-edge ethics courses at Stanford University and is the Chair of the Advisory Council for the Freeman Spogli Institute for International Studies at Stanford.
She also founded a non-profit collaborative platform for debate on innovative ethics called The Ethics Incubator. She serves on a number of boards and advisory boards, including the UK Cabinet Office’s Advisory Committee on Business Appointments, the Pasteur Institute, and Stanford Institute for Human Centered Artificial Intelligence Advisory Council.
She formerly served as Chair of the Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières US Advisory Board, among other non-profit boards.
She has a PhD in Social Policy from the London School of Economics and Political Science, a JD from Columbia University Law School, a MA in Chinese Studies from the University of London SOAS, and two BAs and a MA from Stanford University.
