Judith joined the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (previously the Department for International Development) in 2003 and has since held posts overseas in Ethiopia, Afghanistan, Sudan and Pakistan. She has also worked in policy and corporate roles in the United Kingdom, including on FCDO’s resource allocation model, work with and through multilateral organizations, and UK support to Somalia.

Her last post was leading the department responsible for developing policy and programming with partners to increase the focus on open societies, transparency and accountability, to build stronger systems and institutions of governance and to combat corruption in all its forms.
