Evans Atis
Education economist, GPE Secretariat
Evans Atis is currently an education economist at GPE with over 13 years of experience in international education. In his current role, he mobilizes evidence and provides technical advice to the GPE Secretariat and partner countries on education technology, data systems and evidence uptake for education policy design and implementation.
Previously, he worked at UNICEF and facilitated education systems diagnostics and planning processes, and guided the development of education digital transformation strategies in developing countries.
He holds a master’s degree in Economics and Education and a BA in Applied Economics.
